Just touched down in Ushuaia! The southernmost town in the world, the edge of civilization!!! The flight with aerolineas Argentinas was faaar better than Iberia. We are staying at La Posta hostel at what was supposedly a 4 bed dorm, however we have been upgraded to the private cabin, all set with a living room, kitchen and ski cupboard! And underfloor heating!!!

The family that runs the hostel is ridiculously nice, the mother is making us breakfast tomorrow morning and the son has sorted out all our ski equipment. Jess is looking into being adopted by them, Suraj is still trying to grasp the Spanish language, and nomes confidently orders a pollo sandwich in the completely wrong pronunciation- pollo pronounced as 'polo' apparently means dick.

The views are spectacular, the air is freezing and nomes is humming 'dad is great, he makes us chocolate cake...' ...yeah, none of us get it

Also we all have new names- 'Kaimakis' 'Paitl' 'Magueer' 'Atal'
