Wanted to visit the KL Bird Park today. Thought we'd leave early and try and beat the heat a bit. Taxi dropped us there but it was already pretty hot. The park was lovely with huge towers supporting the bird netting. This was above the trees and the birds were fairly free to fly. Lots of waterbirds such as Flamingos. The hot days continue here without any rain. Apparently this is quite unusual for this time of year according to the taxi drivers. As the caves are near the Batu Caves train station I thought it would be 'fun' to try and get there by train so we cabbed to the nearest train station and headed off.
