Bit of a bumpy flight out of Kununurra, however we soon levelled out. Pic is of the ocean which is dead flat!
Spoke to guy from Melbourne on the plane and he was intrigued by an office worker turned cowboy. Sounds like it's always been a dream of his too... was great to inspire someone, and the line for him was it's never too late to chase your dreams. Great bloke and a really interesting conversation.
Landed back in Darwin and I was planning on having dinner with Tom MacRury, who is playing cricket up here. I meet him earlier this year when I had the privilege of being a marriage celebrant at his sisters wedding. With my plane rescheduling it had been an on and off again dinner... having arrived in Darwin Tom messaged to say he was required at a club night so dinner was off.
I jumped through the shower - no water spared lol. Put my feet up for an hour then went and found dinner at the hotel that I'm staying at. A lovely Aussie lady pointed out I wasn't allowed in the restaurant as I had bare feet! After 5wks in cowboy boots barefoot was bliss, she politely asked me to head outside and they would serve my by the pool. I very tough punishment. Wagu burger and chips later I was beyond full. Sun is going down which my body recognises as bed time.
