Hello everyone!! We are still alive!! Sorry we haven't been on the blog for ages but we have been living it up in Queenstown!! We had the most amazing time. We went jetboating, snowboarding and visited Milford Sound. Rachael and Jord also celebrated their Birthday's here. We hired a car for a few days and went to Dunedin and Lake Tekapo. Yesterday (Thur) we went to Puzzling World. This was fun!! We got lost in the maze and then went in some illusion rooms. Last night we stayed in!! Our first night in in Wanaka!! Still felt tired this morning. Today we treated ourselves to a coffee and banana cupcake!

Only have ten minutes so a quick one - Tue 3rd - Left Greymouth arrived Franz Josef. Lovely small town with a big glacier. Booked our hike. Wed 4th - We did our full day glacier hike. We got kitted up with our crampons!! It was really fun, we had to squeeze through narrow gaps and small holes. The ice was so blue! We went to the glacier hot pools in the evening to rest our legs! Yesterday (Sunday) the weather was awful, we spent our last day in Nelson inside! We did manage to pop out to do some food shopping and book a bus but that's it. Today (Monday) we left Nelson on the Magic Bus. We stopped at the Pancake Rocks and some lovely beaches but are now in Greymouth. We have a brewery tour planned for tonight and then an early start in the morning to get to Franz Joseph.

Sorry we have not been on for a while, here's a run down of what we've been up to - Friday 23rd July - Kaikoura - The weather was awful!! It rained all day. We just popped into town and spent the evening at the hostel. Saturday 24th July - Kaikoura - The weather was better!!
