Today we fly to Amsterdam at 5:25pm. We have packed our luggage and are ready to leave about 3pm to catch the train to the airport. In the meantime we went to the bus stop to catch the bus from Copenhagen to Malmö in Sweden. A 1 hour return trip. Today started out like the last few days with persistent rain. We braved the elements (I had bought my umbrella so was pretty dry) to explore Copenhagen. Gavin was overheating in his rain gear so first stop was an umbrella for him. Fortunately not hard to find. There are many busts of academics outside the university and many statues in the city of various famous people. Our plane arrived about 6:30pm to a wet Copenhagen. After getting our luggage we caught a taxi to our accommodation. It was expensive but not knowing the area it was hard to catch public transport. After meeting our Airbnb host and settling in to our accommodation we went out to find somewhere to buy tea. We found a supermarket that sold ready made food that we could cook in the oven. Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow.
