Our Global Gallivants
Crossed back into Canada today. Had a real crank in customs-welcome back! We made a stop to pick up some flowers and then went to Denise's grave. Saturday would have been her birthday. From there we went to visit her Mom. She is doing well and we had a nice visit. We ate at the Roadhouse in White Rock. Omg, I think they were at Moms garage sale, because they had the same tables and chairs in there. We are staying at Dave's folks for the next couple of nights.

Carla Well they're not green, but otherwise yes. When I first read your comment I was thinking of the brown/orange/yellow/puke green palette...
Bea Ching Oh, they had the whole color palette. Those are just the ones that were next to me and unoccupied.
Vera They have a bunch of sets of those tables in varying colors in the museum in Rosebud, which is population 12 so it's interesting that a restaurant is still using them!! Sturdy as hell and last another 40 yrs!!
Vera Glad to hear Denise's mom is doing well especially with it being her birthday!
Bea Ching Ok, who goes to the museum in Rosebud? Dave told the waitress that he liked the table and chairs and she asked if he was one of the donators. So, they didn't even pay for them. They also had all kinds of memorabilia on the walls, too.
Vera I was in the museum in Rosebud when we went there this summer to go to the Rosebud Theatre. It's a really great museum!! Cory got a kick out of the Eaton's catalogues from 1920's - 1930's!
