They have changed the luggage handling requirements when connecting to an international flight. Instead of picking up your baggage and then going back through security and then customs, you can stay in the secure area and identify your luggage by a photo that comes on the monitor once your boarding pass is scanned. They still make you go through security again?? but at least your not having to wait drag your bags along. The flight over was good. You're going to be bored senseless if you did not download the Westjet app that allows you to watch tv and movies. There were quite a few police cars and fire trucks on the tarmac when we landed. They weren't for our flight, don't know what was happening.
