Spent the morning looking at the sites around mount Isa. This included the Riversleigh fossil museum. The museum has some life size models of diprotidons, marsupial lions and giant kangaroos. There were several fossils out to look at including mega birds and diprotodonts (small diprotodons :) The display gave us a good taste of what we will see at Lawn Hill. The rest of the day was spent restocking at the shops and a few running repairs. A rock had frayed the caravan brake wiring, the tap in the van had a leak to fix and the front shocks were replaced!!! Ready to continue to Lawn Hill and the Savanah Way!!
