After 15 hours waiting in Sydney and Christchurch airports broken up by the moment of comfort of the 4 hour flight into New Zealand. First reaction... Crikey Moses that's cold! Winter frost laid on the grass as we headed over to our campervan office as soon as the clock struck the opening hour of 9am but not before a quick Burger King breakfast meal in the airport (no Hungry Jacks here).

Our first stop was the supermarket to fill the fridge with food and beer for the onward 17 day roadtrip and exploration of the south island. Being only slightly over 5ft didn't stop me jumping into the driving seat of our Freedom Camper! Move over Bryn!
