Waking up on the outskirts of Queenstown with excitement after planning that we were going paragliding that day! Sadly the weather wasn't so exciting and the low level clouds meant it would have been paragliding without a view so we opted for saving it for 'another day'. Feeling slightly jealous at seeing lots of people dressed up for skiing we didn't hang about and started the drive to Te Anau and getting booked in for going to Doubtful sound the next day.

Ethel, the local tourist info lady sorted us right out, and $440 spent we eagerly waited for the morning!
