Ooo it's good to be back! That has got to have been one of the best weeks of my entire life!!!!

First night back went something like this... Search for a hostel, pizza, beer, bed. After a pretty rapid descent from the top of ABC my legs were pretty shakey, somehow Bryn seemed to avoid the Elvis look.

After fantasising about all things nice to eat on the way down, there was no other option but to head back to the stone fired oven place the followimg night too for an indulgent pizza takeaway so that we could head home and Skype the families with our news, watch the football, and indulge in cheesy goodness! Although Bryn felt nervous about spreading the news as we were walking down, his nerves seemed to have calmed and mine had started. It wasn't really nerves but excitement and anticipation really!

Actually getting on Skype with mum and dad was the easy part, telling the story not so much. After a few nudges from me he finally spilled the story and asked for their blessing. Blessing granted (we think) and the tears started again. And telling grandma over Skype AND the phone was even worse! I'm surprised she could even hear what I was saying, luckily Bryn filled in the gaps.

Michael and Glenn, Ben and Tim and Nikki and the family was compete! Next step was the Facebook world (not before a quick message to my girls though!)

With such lovely responses from our families, I went to bed with a smile on my face and an 80p Indian ring on my finger... Perfect!
