Guess what, this isn't a picture of Melbourne at all. I have just come full circle on my Australian journey and am back in Melbourne, although the picture above is of the utterly fabtastic Coober Pedy, where I was only a couple of days ago. The trip from Alice Springs turned out to be f***ing awesome. Our guide was a bit tempermental but I met some wicked people (there were only 8 of us going from Alice to Adeliade). 3 girls from round sheffield, an essex lad and a german girl. There was a german guy who was a complete c*** whose face I wanted to break but thats another story. We camped in the foothills around Uluru which was pretty amazing. I git some awesome photos although my new camera is now f***ed. Yes, my new camera really is f***ed. We then went to an opal mine in Coober Pedy which was pretty backward. People live in caves, in the dark. and they love it. Weeeeird. We did a bunmh of hikes up big mountains and learned about Aborigine stuff which was quite interesting. I'd divulge a bit more info but its probably more accurate if you look it up on wiki. I got a bit bored and drank quite a lot of lager and sort of made my own s*** up. Adelaide was a bit seedy. i met up with daphne, the belgian I met on whitsndays again which was nice. I moved on from adelaide to melbourne with the guys I met on the alice to adelaide bus. We laughed a lot. A lot of booze was involved and the word 'bean' was thrown around an awful lot. Now we're in Melbourne. I'm staing at my aunts. I need a job. I need to sort my life out. My bag is my life. i need to think things through before I write them down. Love you! x
