It rained again during the night so the air was a bit damp this morning. It's misty again and probably wont clear till the sun comes out later. Still it's about 23 degrees. It rained a lot last night, and us very misty. We started the day with a trek up Teresek hill at 9am. Before we set off, Rusli suggested that I put my pants inside my socks otherwise the leeches would find it very easy to get access to my legs... he didn't have to tell me twice! We saw lots more insects and birds as we went up including a woodpecker , a millipede, giant ants and sweat bees. It was very misty at the top of the hill so there wasn't much visibility....

Another early(ish) start this morning. Not a great night sleep even though I was shattered after yesterday. I woke at 3.30am to something falling on my head..it took a few minutes to register, jumped up outta the bed thinking it mite be some sort of creature on the hunt, to my relief it was drops of water from the air conditioning unit above our heads! Still couldn't get back to sleep straight away.Woke again at 4.30.. Noise outside the door, still awake at 5 .. ...

Today feels like it's never-ending mostly because we've been on the go for over 30 hours without sleep! As soon as we arrived in KL we dumped the bags at the Rainforest B&B and headed into the city centre aka KLCC. After travelling from Sligo last night and not settling into bed till 12 midnight we have an early rising at 4.30am. Leaving the cold winter from Dublin bound for a Paris connection to Kuala Lumpur, the snow had cleared so thankfully there was no delay, Phew. Excitement has well and truly set in and with a 12 and a half hour flight from Paris and 3 inflight movies later we arrive to 27 degree heat in Kuala Lumpur...at 8am. Very tired now cos its 11pm Irish tim...
