Day 61, 3 September 2012, Pamukkale, Turkey. We arrived at 9.30 am this morning off our overnight bus and we are enjoying the new scenery immensely. Day 60, 2 September 2012, Our last night in Goreme - We spent the evening psyching ourselves up for the forthcoming bus ride. We had a great outing at our new burger haunt teasing Diver Mark about the dearth of dive sites in the middle of Turkey and talking our sox off with our new friend from Northern Ireland - Barbara (Hellooo!) Day 59, 1 September 2012, Goreme. Lazarus arises! Having started antibiotics last night I'm finally on the mend and we spent the day lazing around the lodgings gathering our strength. Ventured out for food at about 3 pm and discovered Fat Boys in downtown Goreme. Finally being able to eat after 2 days of no food was miraculous - lovely big juicy burger with actual herbs in the patty.... and chips .... and tomato sauce. All good. Back for a 2 hour nap. Eme...

Day 58, 31 August 2012, Cappadocia - Today is officially a rest day. We had planned to head to the coast (Fethiye) on a 14 hour overnight bus trip tonight - but after two months of African/Egyptian/Jordanian food, and even a week in Istanbul, we are finally sick! Thankfully the medication we've carried for 2 months is now coming in handy. We've extended our stay in magical Goreme another couple of nights and added an extra night in Pammukule before heading to...
