Day 59, 1 September 2012, Goreme. Lazarus arises! Having started antibiotics last night I'm finally on the mend and we spent the day lazing around the lodgings gathering our strength. Ventured out for food at about 3 pm and discovered Fat Boys in downtown Goreme. Finally being able to eat after 2 days of no food was miraculous - lovely big juicy burger with actual herbs in the patty.... and chips .... and tomato sauce. All good. Back for a 2 hour nap. Emerged like a sleepy bear from our cave room for some rice for dinner. Back to bed... Can you see a pattern developing? James on the other hand, has become the life and soul of the social scene at Tabiat Cave Pension and enjoyed the company of 11 other men over a traditional Turkish barbeque in the courtyard. Copious amounts of many and varied alcohols were imbibed. And a late night was had by all. Except me! Cave-bear incarnate.
