Day 58, 31 August 2012, Cappadocia - Today is officially a rest day. We had planned to head to the coast (Fethiye) on a 14 hour overnight bus trip tonight - but after two months of African/Egyptian/Jordanian food, and even a week in Istanbul, we are finally sick! Thankfully the medication we've carried for 2 months is now coming in handy. We've extended our stay in magical Goreme another couple of nights and added an extra night in Pammukule before heading to Ephesus. The lovely people at our cave lodgings have been frantically concerned about us - so we've emerged from our room and are lounging on cushions outside in our courtyard. James is off to the bus station shortly to try and change our tickets. But if all else fails, it's only 100 lira for the pair of us to travel to Pammukule - so $50. Not bad for 10 hours in a luxury bus!
