Hi Everyone!!

Well here I am, over 24 hours of travelling and I have finally reached my hostel in Tokyo! Let me start at the beginning....after a very sad goodbye with mumsie I had to sit around heathrow airport for 3 hours because somebody dropped me off way too early!!

Then I got my first flight to Copenhagen, I slept for the whole of this and then we were there. Copenhagen airport is boring! There was one little newsagent and that is it, but was only going to be there for an hour so I I didn't care, until my flight got delayed for 2 hours!! Had to get some food because I was starving but only recognised these chicken kebab things so had to have one of them! Luckily I had my trusty supply of crisps with me as usual!

We finally got out of Copenhagen at 5pm and then had my 11 hour flight to Tokyo. Only watchced one film and then tried to sleep but was just really uncomfortable the entire way. I was sat next to a little Japanese man who couldn't speak much english but we made friends after he gave me his butter for my second bread roll as the other food was weird looking and they only gave you chopsticks to eat with. The Japanese man even ate his apple crumble with chopsticks. I offered him my apple crumble and then we were best friends. He bought me wine, gave me chewing gum and tried to teach me Japanese but I wasn't very good. Half way through the flight they brought round these wrap things so I was thinking finally some normal food but luckily I read the ingredients and saw it was reindeer!! ARGH!! Can't be eating that a few days after our fake christmas day!!

Anyway the flight was finally over and I was really scared about getting the train but I did fine. Didn't even get slightly lost, until I got off the train and had to try and walk to the hostel. I couldn't find it at all and eventually had to get in a taxi because I thought my backpack was going to rip my arms off! He charged me a fortune but it was worth it to actually get here. I had to take my shoes off at the door and put on some slippers which was weird. They have messed up my reservation which was for a room of 8 girls so now I'm in a double room which is brilliant because as soon as I'm allowed in (its being cleaned)I plan on sleeping for 12 hours and getting up at 3am to go to the famous fish market. Everyone seems really friendly so far but I am getting lots of stares. I haven't seen a single other white person since I left the airport so i'm thinking thats why!

Thats it for now, sorry for any rubbish spelling but its a japanese keyboard and its really weird!
