Today we got up and left for waitomo. On the way we stopped for a walk which took us through some old railway tunnels on the side of a gorge. It was pritty cool! This afternoon a lot of people from the bus (including Felicity) went black water rafting which involved getting into wetsuits and going under ground, jumping into pools of water and sitting in rings to see the glow worms. They seemed to have lots of fun! I have done it before so I decided to go for a walk, this wasn't very successful as after getting 10 mins into the walk I saw that the path had been closed due to some land slides, so instead I went and had a real coffee in a coffee shop to get out of the rain!

Today we left for rotorua, we got there about midday and went for a big walk around the town and lake. It's so odd to smell sulphur at various points, it's even more odd to see holes on the ground with boiling water, and even funnier when you see steam coming up from the road side drains! We went to a Maori village area where there were some beautiful buildings, whilst walking through a residential area we even saw random holes in people's gardens with bubbling water and steam! On the way back we walked through the geysers park which was cool to see. I remember loving rotorua last time I was here and I certainly still like it!
This evening we went for a drink in the bar, two guys persuaded us to play a game of beer pong which we were surprisingly not that bad at!
