Today we left for Taupo, on the way we visited huka falls which is a large waterfall. It was beautiful, the water looked ice cold and was clear blue. Everyone planned to go skydiving this afternoon but it unfortunately got cancelled due to the weather. So instead we decided that we would join in with the bar competition and go iut dressed in thrift shop wear. So we went thrift shopping, a thrift shop is like a charity shop. 11 of us set out to find a thrift shop, one was closed so James went and asked an old lady where else we could go, she then proceeded to offer all 11 of us a lift. There were 4 in the back of the car fliss and I were in and one in the front, Mats with sage the dog! This was the funniest afternoon all picking outfits for each other, I was crying with laughter for the majority of the afternoon!
That evening was so much fun, we were all given free punch for dressing up and one of the guys one a prize for wearing a females silky nightie!

Today we all walked up to the hot springs. It was so beautiful, one of my favourite places I've ever been too. There was a stream of water, flowing through rock pools into a big open river. We sat in those pools for ages, 3 guys, Chelsey and I walked up the bank for a while and jumped into the river which was ice cold! It hurt all my body, the river had a strongish current so it took us back downstream to the hot pools which were so inviting after the cold river!
This afternoon fliss did a skydive from 15,000 feet! I sat this one out as i have done a skydive before. I was very proud and it was so lovely to see how buzzing she was when she got back! That afternoon I went for a walk around lake Taupo which was beautiful.
After all having dinner together a few of us went back to the hot springs in the moonlight and sat in them drinking red wine! It was one of my best evenings. So beautiful and so surreal that I was sitting in a natural stream that was hotter than my bath!
