So this afternoon we got to hot water beach about 1.30. Our hostel is like 5 star accommodation compared to the hostel on Fiji mainland! We are sharing with two guys that we met on the bus and a really lovely couple from England. Once checked in we walked down to hot water beach with spades in tow to dig our holes in the sand to find the hot water! After the guys had finished digging (felicity helped a bit and I took the job of the camera man!) we had a lovely pool of hot water which we sat in on the beach! So odd!
Later on we went from a walk at cathedral cove, it wasn't until we got closer to cathedral cove and we were walking down many steps that I remembered doing the walk with my parents 6years ago....I remember hating walking back up the stairs but I bounded up them this time with no moaning!! Cathedral cove was a beautiful beach with a huge arch in the middle. I gave one of the guys from the bus a lecture on how the arch had been formed. I'm not sure he appreciated it but I enjoyed remembering what I had learnt in a level geography!
This evening everyone sat around outside chatting and getting to know everyone!
