We drove around "The Bluff" headland which has views over the region and then walked over to Granite Island which is home to little penguins. We did not see any though and this is because they generally leave the island to go get their feed before dawn and return on dusk.


The weather is not enjoyable at all today but it seems as though lots of other places around Australia are much worse at the moment with lots of reports of severe thunderstorms and fires, so it makes us grateful it isn't worse here. We attempted an afternoon swim in the heated pool but only the kids ended up swimming with Matt & I preferring to stay warm & dry.
