We left early for a walk from the peninsula that headed to a couple of lookouts and bays. It was quite hilly but nice. The "Rock & Rev's" show was on so we dropped by to have a look at some old cars and the boys got free cupcakes. This was a place that really grew on me. It seemed a bit plain to start with but by the end I loved the setup. We headed down the mountain today to Finch Hatton and set up camp at Platypus Bush Camp before going 'forest flying'. The description on the internet sounded just like the one at the Daintree but I thought I would do this instead because it was less commercialised. Woke up early to watch the sun rise over the valley and mountains then headed for a short walk to Sky View Lookout and then the Rainforest Discovery Trail. We did all this and were back at camp about 9:30 and had a lazy day hanging around camp.

After another play on the jumping pillow and the pool, we pack up and headed inland to Eungella. Driving up to Eungella (680m elevation) it was a bit painful at times driving between 20-30km/h.
