So we headed to Halong Bay for a boat trip out into a cluster of about 100 little islands. On the boat there were a couple of brits one of which happened to be from havant - small road huh! When we got on the boat we chilled on the deck then went to some caves - the guide kept on pointing out some images in the rocks but me and kate were not gettin these images at all apart from the giant sticking out rock in the shape of a penis ( well it had a bright red light on it for christ's sake so what else were we to think it was!!) After we went in some kayaks in a lil cove and saw lots of jelly fish in the water - luckily we werent swimmin in that part (although the next day kate did get stung so we made a quick exodus from the water)! We spent the afternoon chillin on the decka nd in the evenin watched the shooting stars while drinking a couple of beers so a very relaxed time! After watching the stars we headed to the cabin to find out that a rat had climbed onto kate's bed and had nibbled her bag - so while i curled up on my bed kate searched the room for the hairy culprit but it wasnt to be found! So i treid to forget bout it and sleep! The next day we swam some more in the sea and dove off the deck - i had to make sure my bikini was still in place before i came up to the surface! On the way back we stopped for lunch and i bought some water from another cafe and gave her 50,000 as i wanted some change but this wanst good enough for her so she suffed her hand into mny wallet and took out the correct maney - what a bloody cheek! I was in too much shock to do anything but swear at her in englisha nd any other language i could think of! When we got back we headed out for pizza with chrsity and gerry then got a taxi for the night bus to Hue - we shared a cabin with two swedes and they slept all the time so felt pretty safe but still had my money attached to me as have heard some stories bout the trains and muggung so i was lucky!
