Got up at 10:30 and got ready (packed etc..) then headed out and got a bus to the boat station. Waited for the boat, then off to koh Tao!!
Got onto the island just past 3, and got a taxi (open ute) out to our hostel. I wasn't keen at first as it seemed really far from town, but the rooms were kinda cool, and the common area was a sweet open but thing with a tv and loads of downloaded movies.
Went out for food with soph and joe (met at hostel), then went to the beach and chilled with those two for a bit. Practice some poi, then saw some Thai guys from a bar with fire poi, asked if I could dip mine in the oil and do it myself, but they didn't let me :-( so we just watched for a bit.
Barry (met out in town) started feeling rough, so we went back to the hostel. He went to bed, while ill chilled in the common area watching films with people (all divers doing padi courses) really nice to just chill for a night (although not drinking didn't go to plan, had several beers!!).
