Today we head to Spain, it's still overcast and on the cooler side so hopefully will see some sunshine and blue sky in Spain. As we drive along there are acres and acres of sunflowers, they are so beautiful, when there's no sunflowers there is fields of corn, vineyards and hay bails. This area of France is just gorgeous. As we get into the Pyrenees mountains we pass lakes, small ski villages and lots and lots of trees. This is one of the most scenic drives I have ever been on, it is mouth dropping, stunningly beautiful.

We stopped in Andorra for lunch, this is a small country up in the mountains between France and Spain. We found it so hard trying to find something to eat as everything is written in Spanish lol! This is a beautiful little country, would be a great place to spend some good relaxation time and just take in the stunning beauty.

We hit Spain and instantly blue sky, yippee!! After a very long drive we do a driving tour of the city of Barcelona. The bus is buzzing with excitement as this is a well known place for it's partying!!! On our driving tour we stop to take photos of the Sagrada Familia, it's a cathedral that Gaudi designed, it still isn't finished yet after 120 years of construction. it is really obscure with modern and past art. It is amazing , something that needs to be seen to be believed. Gaudi actually died working on this his life's work, he stepped out in front of a tram, in his honor they banned trams in Barcelona, so only buses and trains, no trams.

After dinner we head to the the roof to the pool area for a few pre de party drinks. We tried Spain's national drink, sangria, which is a mixture of red wine, brandy and fresh fruit. It is quiet refreshing. Some of the others had bought absence from the duty free shop in Andorra, so there was a few shots going around. For the first time in my life I was smart enough to say no to them lol, it was way messy enough with out that lol!!

Our first pub was a dark and dingy, hot pub that most people took one look at and said b***** this, so they took off to the beach bars, which would have been heaps better but we had already bought a beer each. The group got split up which was a bit crap. Eventually we got to the beach area and got into one of many night clubs. It cost $20 Euro each to get into the joint, what a rip!! But we had a great time jiving our jokes off lol! Oh yeah by the way little Westy we are sorry to hear about Amy winehouse. We were going to stay out only until about 1 but we can't help our selves 4.30 came along and tried to get a taxi home but they were all full, so we went around the corner but still no luck. Then it started poring with rain we were soaked. Took for ever to get home, got on a bus which went the wrong way, got off the bus, finally got a taxi and the business card from hotel was ruined from the rain and the photo of the address had been deleted, oh b*****!! Had to turn on data roaming for google maps to find our hotel. Taxi driver was trying to get us out of the cab, there was no way we were getting out! Well in bed at 6am after what a night lol!!!
