Well it's official the bloody cold has got me, bloody nose running, sore throat and headache "b*****"!!!! Time for the cold and flus to come out.

An hours drive to our first stop, the stunning winery of chateau du taillan. The chateau was built in the 18th centuary and is just gorgeous with vines growing up the white walls, wooden windows and a petite 2 seater garden setting, oh so beautiful. The vineyard's cellar is 16th century and still in use today. It has limestone walls which keeps the wine at the perfect temperature. We also learnt how important the barrels are, this particular vineyard uses French oak, they only use them 3 times and there worth 600 euro to buy brand new and after they have finished with them they sell them for 30 euro, what a huge difference. The more full bodied wine goes in the new barrels as this gives it a more oakier taste where as a lighter wine goes into the old barrels. We enjoyed a taste of red, white and rosee, yum! They where delicious, even at 10am, must be 5pm somewhere in the world!

We have this fluro vest going around and it is for people to nominate some one who has said something or done something silly the day/night before. When that person is voted in they have to where the vest all day. But they do get to nominate a word or action that is not to be said or done through out the day. The word for today is "wine", well that has been a winner! Lol!! I think ever one has said it at least once, if you do say it you have to drop down and do 10 push ups. I had to do my lot at the bottom of the cellar floor, and Boofa, well I've lost count, I think he is up to at least 50 lol!

We arrived in Carcassonne, still in France at about 4-4.30. We stopped of at this medieval fortress, the wall goes for 3 kms. It has been restored but it still looks quit to theme as it would have many years ago. It has a beautiful church with gargoyles coming out from the top. Lots of little restaurants, shops and crafts. Boofa went with some other guys to watch the Jelsting while I just wandered around taking photos with another girl Sam.
