We drag our selves out of bed at 11.30am, shower and off down Las Ramblas to get some tukker. This is a very touristy street, lots of street acts and a big mall on the harbor made from an old bull fighting arena. I tried paella which was a rice dish with seafood, Boof got a pizza. It was ok but we got ripped off, Spain is supposed to be cheap but we didn't find it cheap. After that we walked to the dock and looked at the stadium from a distance and saw the Christopher Columbus monument. We then went for another look at Sagrada Familia, we were going to go in but the line was way to long. We walked up the park guell to the chair lift, only for the views and the loo lol!! It had great views of the city and harbor. Then we walked down and around to the Olympic stadium from the 1992 Olympics, it was so massive great to see. On our way home e saw another few monuments, museums and another bull fighting arena, they built these two arenas for the fighting of the bulls but in Barcelona it is no longer done, which I think is good cause what it is, is a fella fighting with the bull, stabbing it until it is warn out then sliting it's throat in front of thousands of people, not very humane!!!
Caught the metro back home and picked up our washing to wander down the street the laundry. Some of the others went out for tapas and shots but our washing called. It was good though we shared a kabab while washing was on, then enjoyed a half early night. Ended up being a good day after a rocky start lol!!
