Room change, 315 third floor: The first thing I do is find and flush all the roach pellets! Yay no horrible smell, but rather a lot of roaches! We changed room today partly to seal the cheaper deal but mostly to get some peace, hopefully. The trains are just too much and Vincent isn't sleeping too well. Our first day of not doing that much, before we start working. We decided to go to Church gate in the South. This is the Fort area which was built by the British ("didn't we used to own that") in colonial times. Our room: no. 112, a comfy double bed with sheets that we aren't allergic to, yay! There is air con that works well but drips on the table, there is a ceiling fan just like in our new room at home only this one is more like the down blast from a helicopter - makes a similar noise to! The floor is clean and tiled - but it does have a colony of roaches, the anti roach pellets smell awful. Our TV has only an 'up' channel button and only a handful of the 99 channels ...
