Koh Muk....A brilliant Island just as you could magine a small Island with only a few people on it. It had a small beach with a resort called Charlies at the front, it wasnt big but it was the main resort on the Island. It was out of our budget range at 40 quid a night so we walked through it to get to a place called rubber tree resort. It was a load of bamboo huts scattered around amongst a real rubber tree farm.
The bamboo hut we decided on was tiny with only 2 beds, mosqito nets and a toilet. Oh and lizards and bats. It was good just what we wanted. It cost 800 baht which is expensve but still only 16 quid a night.
This was just a day for relaxation as there was nothing else to do but it was nice. Finally the fact that me and Nic had spent the last 2 months in eachothers pockets had taken its toll. We had a brillant argument. Nic was winning and i had no come back so i dived into the sea and swam out really far knowing she would be to scared of all the little fish that swim into you when you go deap. It was heaven. I just layed there for ages floating until i felt this big thing on top of me. I thought, right thats it, a shark has gotten me although it felt more like a blue whale. I faced the fact that i was gong to be eaten until after a while i wasnt., I was still alive. I opened my eyes to find that Nis had gathered the confidence to swim out to me and argue some more. What was more suprsing she didnt want to argue she appologised. I know a WOMAN saying sorry....whtas that about. Anyway we were friends again.
That was about it. We stayed one night under our mosqito nets. Nic thought she was 5 again and started playing mums and dads. I didnt want to play but her childish games sent me off to sleep which was nice.
Onto Hat Yai.
