Hey Everyone,

A short stop here in Chang Khong the boarder town before we enter or 3rd country LAOS. It is remote here and only one road that leads up to the border between Thailand and Laos but pretty and there is also a bar that is full of football stuff man u, liverpool, chelsea etc no charlton you guessed it! we stayed in this lovely guesthouse for a bout 4.50 which is ok hehe me and stu and are getting so tight with our money how funny! it was full of teak wood and the lady that owned it was lovely! she was asking our advise on this english man she has met and whether she sould shack up with him hehehe quite hush hush bless her. He sounded like a loan shark but we told her she was lovely and he probably liked here for her lovely personality not the fact that she owned a nice guesthouse and you need to marry a thai lady to be able to stay in the country hehehe.

Well in the morning after we slept badly on a dodgy bed - which stu inspects thoroughly before we go anywhere near it- we headed for our2day boat journey to the Laos border Huay Hux and down the great mekong river to Pak Baen for the night then the 2nd day to Luang Prabang!
