I love Sydney!!!

Well as you can guess we are having a fantastic time in Sydney. We have all just fallen in love with the place. Especially the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. It felt so surreal to see them for the first time. Just after we'd met Jen on the first day we got on a ferry into the City Centre which sailed right past the Opera House. It was amazing! We have now taken this ferry about 10 times and I think I've just got used to it (although I still manage to get a new photo each time!)I've taken so many photos already, I think people should probably just avoid me for a bit when I get back!

We went up the Sydney Tower last night which was incredible. It is the tallest building in Sydney and you can see across the city. It just hits you how big it is when you're looking out at it. I now can't believe I thought Cairns seemed big. Sydneys just on a whole scale of its own!

Today we went on a trip to the Blue Mountains which was fantastic!( after getting over being up at 6 in the morning!!) It was so weird that we didn't seem to travel far out of the City Centre and we were in the mountains. We got taken to loads of different locations and lookouts across the mountains. The views we saw were just amazing. I'm sure I must have taken about 100 photos today alone, oops! We also travelled on the Worlds Steepest Train as we went down into the rainforest. I don't think any of us were quite ready for how steep it was, I felt like I was on a ride at Alton Towers!! I'm sure it was just vertical!

In the afternoon we got taken to a particular lookout across the mountains where there were no fences or barriers, we just got told to be careful! The view from up there was amazing, but even just looking at the photos now makes me feel nervous. I don't think I breathed the whole time we were up there! You could just stand there with a sheer drop in front of you. Seeing a burnt out car over the edge too didn't exactly fill you with confidence! All I kept thinking was, 'Dad would not be happy if he could see us now!' Sorry!

It was such an amazing day though and completed our trip to Sydney on a high. However, we're so tired now and have to be up bright and early again tomorrow to fly to Melbourne so Im off to bed.
