Hello!

Just a quick update from Sydney.

We arrived in Sydney Tuesday nights after flying down from Cairns. It was so lovely to be on such a short flight. I think I could manage anything now after the mammoth trip from England to Aus.

We got up bright and early Wednesday morning to go and meet Jen at the airport. We were so excited when we all met. It seemed so weird to see her even though its only been 3 weeks. We're just not used to seeing anyone we know anymore!

It felt like we walked the length and bredth of Sydney yesterday. We have all fallen in love with it. It seems so surreal to be here (especially for Jen!). Seeing the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge was so just so amazing. It just seems so strange to see such famous landmarks that you see everywhere but don't ever imagine actually going to. I'm sure we will all be able to bore people with the hundreds of photos that we've already taken.

Luckily Jen did better than us and managed to stay up all day too so se went out for dinner in Chinatown last night which was really nice. I have always wanted to go to a Chinatown!! And it helps that noodles are so cheap!! (always a bonus!)

We're in Manly today which is a beachside suberb in Syndey and although its not quite as hot as it was up in Queensland its a lovely day and Jens got to visit her first beach here!

Off to explore now!
