We went to the coastal town of Swakopmund where the temps really dropped to the 20's instead of the 30's and 40's!! Its a pretty much German town with townships around the outside where all the blacks and coloureds live! We tried out sandboarding here! Nick got the hang of it quickly and within no time was jumping off the ramps!! Nat picked it up pretty quick even tho she had a few bad falls! It was awsome as they had sandboards and also lie down boards for the ultra steep dunes that we tried out! one of which we tried out and got up to 80km which was seriously quick!! Have a few VIds!!! We also met an awsome local called Pally who was sort of working for the sandboarders and invited us back to his township, which you really would;nt want to go to unless you knew someone there as they are fairly dangerous places!! He took us in and showed us round and we even hung out as his place there and his uncles place and his grandparents place, and it was awsome to see how these guys live out there!! we got out alive and had such an awsome experience to do that!! As wefelf so out of place with the stares and everything!!
