Round the World in 155 Days!
Not alot to report. We ve arrived in Auckland, first impressions chilly, but welcome relief. The air is breathable, hooray! Yesterday was actually sunny but today its raining, but i think the sun is trying to come out, this reminds me of English summer. Auckland seems really nice, loads of boats (city of sails) and bays. We met up with Nev (family friend/ tennis coach, from the Glos who emigrated to NZ). Nev took us to his town house/ pad, and made us lunch. He s got pictures of Gloucester Cathedral and the docks which was quite strange. After trying to convince us to live here he took us to see his boat, very nice and gave us a strangly interesting lesson on how to use boat radar and GPS. Nevs son Andrew has offered us to stay in an apartment below their house in return for us looking after a 5 yr old boy, 2 yr old boy, and baby girl which is good of them although when we went round there yesterday both boys were naked bouncing on a trampoline with toy gun and chainsaw in hand. Andrew is a tennis coach and his offered a me a hit with some of his good players, he said they easily beat Matt when he was over, should be fun! We are moving in there today, after Nevs returned from fishing, hes promised us fresh fish for lunch. We are staying there until Ross and Kate arrive from Glos on the 29th, in in the mean time we re trying to sort out some wheels for Nz. Well, i better go and wake Nicky up.
From NZ with love.
