New Years Eve

We were really looking forward to the prospect of celebrating New Year in Sydney and were not dissapointed. After going to Irene's friend's place for a few drinks and a fantastic view over the harbour, the young ones (Andrew, Emily, Jessica) took us down to the water front for a close-up view. We had to search a bit but eventually found a good position along with loads of other people. It was packed and a really good atmosphere. The fireworks at 12 were spectacular! Our pictures don't really do them justice but sure you get the idea.
