Day 3 Coober Pedy Another early start (4.30am) so that we could make good time on the long drive to Coober Pedy, an Opal mining town in the middle of nowhere. Day 2 Flinders Ranges/Wipena Pound Knowing that we'd be staying in the same place again this evening, we left all unessential items, took lots of water/sunscreen/hats etc and headed off for a long day of walking and sight-seeing. First was a stop at an old sheep-station, which is now pretty run down. Interesting to see the buildings and find out about how settlers a couple of hundred years ago lived. Central Australia Trip Day 1 Adelaide to Quorn The day started with a very early registration and then it was on to the bus to head off up the middle of Australia. The bus was pretty old and very, very cramped, but most of our time on it was spent sleeping anyway. Adelaide Finally we arrived in Adelaide!!! After such a long journey Danni and I hit the shops (Retail therapy)! So the cultural pictures you see of the city and botanical gardens were taken by Nick! A good nights sleep was needed as our 5:00am departure was just the start of our travels into central Australia!

Robe and Coonawarra After a groggy start we got some miles under our belt on the long drive to Robe our final stop before Adelaide.
