We got up early today to get ready for our Neighbours Tour!!!!!!!!

We made our way to the Neighbours office down Flinders St and settled payment before getting on the Neighbours bus. The tour was fully booked and it was quite a mixed range of people, pensioners, travellers and holiday makers. It was a half hour drive to global television where all the exterior sets are.

The bus parked up, the first bits we saw were Carpenters Mechanics, Grease Monkies and the bus stop where Izzy left from. We then walked round to Harolds alotment, Go Go Boys office before then continuing round the main area where we saw Lassiters, Harolds Store, Charlies Bar, Toady's Law office and the lake!!!! It was all smaller than expected but so cool. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face! The bridge isn't used anymore but they still had it there, it was so cool being on the neighbours walk bridge!

After spending sometime at the lake and bandstand we got back on the bus and made our way to Ramsey St!! It is actaully a real residential street where people, it is called Pin Oak Crescent. The residents get paid by Neighbours and they also have 24hr security as apparently a few years back they had problems with people ringing the doorbells and asking for Harold etc!

Again, alot smaller than expected but it really does look like it does on TV. Couldn't believe we were actually walking around Ramsey St! We met Nell Feeney who played Janelle Timmons, mum of Sting Ray, Dylan, Bree etc. She is now brunette, such a nice lady and can you believe she talks exactly the same way as her character did!! Worrying! We had our photo taken with her and she signed a postcard for each of us before we then headed back off to the city.
