We decided to head into the city today. There isn't a great deal of things to see in terms of sights but we wanted to have a walk about. We walked to the train station, about a 15-20min walk and got the train to the city center. The buildings in the city are beautiful, lots of gothicy old buildings.

We saw the MCG (melbourne Cricket Ground), NGV Art Gallery, South Bank, Bridges and Flinders St station, all the main sights. The NGV is such a cool building with a huge spire constructed on its roof. There was also the arts market along south bank so it was nice to have a wander around the stalls.

The weather was gorgeous and we had a really nice day in the city. We both really like Melbourne, with its relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous streets, houses and city.
