Went for a BIG breakfast at the Irish pub down the road so that we were full up for the day (very yummy indeed). From there we walked to the Tha Pae Gate (the main enterence to the old city) before continuing on to Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phra Singh before then experiencing Thailand rain, aka Fat Rain!!!!! It had been very hot and sunny all morning & the rain came out of no where. Once the rain had calmed down a bit we moved on to 3 Kings Monument in the centre of the city. We then strolled on to Wat Lam Chang but unfortunately it was being rennovated so we crossed the road to Wat Chiang Man. On our way to all these places we visited other temples too.

We walked the entire day though we did get alot of attention from the Tuk Tuk drivers as Nick was wearing his Superman T-shirt . . . . "Where Superman need to go" !!!

My eye is still hurting!! With my rice at dinner there was a small dish of sauce that I stuck my finger in & tasted - it was sooooooo hot, thought my toungue was on fire! A little while later I rubbed my eye with the same bloody finger & wondered why my eye was burning & stinging!! Very blurred vision for a while but almost back to normal now!! Won't be making that mistake again!!
