Another week as gone by since I have last posted.I figured I should send one last blog before I head off on my Spring Break tour on Friday!!

I was very fortunate to have a home away from home this year for my Birthday Celebrations.On Friday mother-nature must have known that it was my Big day because the sky was clear and just beaming with hot sunshine.Went to class in the morning and had the afternoon to spend on the beach.A couple girls from the other house joined me for a while as I relaxed.

Later that evening the other Dorm had my and the other SMC girls over for community dinner.They spoiled me rotten with cupcakes, candles, and cards.They sang Happy Birthday as well.Once we were finished with dinner we got ready and headed into the city for a night out on the town.It was a lot of fun.These girls were the ones I had travelled to Broome with so it was nice to have them welcome us SMC girls into their family.

The real festivities began on Saturday night.About a week ago the Power family had taken us out to dinner or our weekly feed and chat.Topic of conversation became my Birthday.They announced they were throwing me a birthday party and it was going to be Aussie/American themed.Naturally I thought I was a joke.I really didn't think they would go through the trouble of actually throwing me the party!Well fortunate me was blessed with the opportunity to have all of my newly made friends over to the Power household for Birthday celebrations.

Upon getting to the house they surprised me with a huge, legit karaoke machine!Ma would have loved it.It had concert size speakers and all new and old music.Everyone loved it.The family also provided food and drinks for everyone.Words cannot begin to describe how thankful we are for having the Power family welcome us into their home.

Rebecca also had a surprise for me.She created a video displaying our time thus far.I have posted it on the blog so be sure to check it out.She did a great job!

There were about 35 guests that came and we all had a blast.The family was out there mingling with us and playing games as well.The party started around 8 and after we helped clean we were home by 12:30.It was just a great night.Everyone had such a great time (or at least they sure looked like it).

Although I was not home for the 20th, they sure made me feel like all of you were with me.Wish you could have been there to celebrate but just think how great it is going to be to celebrate in July!
