After about a three day journey we finally crossed the border into Nepal about 2 weeks ago and headed to Kathmandu. It soon became clear that travelling to Tibet was not going to be an option so we booked to do an 16 day trek to Everest Base Camp. We hung around Kathmandu for a couple of days, chilling out and checking out the city before heading to Pokhara, where we have been for the past ten days.
