After a slice of giant pizza and some c…
Welcome to Nic and Caroline's Travel Blog
Over the next six months we invite you to share our adventure - the highs and lows, the laughter and tears, the fall outs and make ups, the weird and the wonderful and the downright incredible. So sit back, watch the videos, laugh at the photos, read the blog and make full use of the message board, and join us (in sickness and in health!) as we take on the World...It doesn't know what it's in for!

Hi Nic and Caroline,
Just been looking through the blog - messages, photos, videos - what a journey you have both been on and I'm sure there's more with all you've seen and experienced.
Nic we're putting in an early Happy Birthday which we will celebrate the weekend you return. However, spending it watching humped backed whales and being in Tonga is the birthday to beat all so far! We will of course raise a glass to you and then some more on your return.
You must feel very strange!!
Hopefully speak to you on Friday 22nd. ( No doubt Dad will want to send you a message too)
Take care
Lots of love,
Mum XXXX

Hey there Ladies,
Just been catching up on your tales from the last few blogs, seems like you are still having a great time, bet there's mixed feelings of it ending.
As you can see Caroline I've managed to get back from Syria/Jordan with all my limbs and head still attached, not even an orange jumpsuit as a souvenier! Looking forward to swapping a few tales with you over a glass(or two) of wine...
Take care of each other and enjoy the, umm, 'scenery' of the local polynesians...
Lots of love

Hi Caroline,
Just received your postcard from Borneo - thanks. Hope the next part of your journey is as much fun, you sound to have really enjoyed everything there.
We're recovering after Grandma's birthday weekend - just worked out that we served 50 meals, not including breakfasts! Very enjoyable though and the weather was kind to us (the midges not so kind!)
Gran was thrilled with her card and has shown it to everyone she can.You rang at just the right time and it was "The icing on the cake" - she had a good day.
Enjoy the last lap both of you - soon be celebrating your birthday Caroline - can't wait!
Take care and have fun,
Lots of love xxx

hi there girls, nice to see some of Oz.
gotta agree with you- it does look a bit chilly! The trike looked a bit dangerously.........sedate.
Off to a bbq this afternoon - in sunny Wigan. I think i'm going back to bed for a bit now- got up too early for a Saturday morning.
take care - Hope you both enjoy the Land of Giant Men.

Hi Auntie Caroline,
Why have you got lots of pictures of Uncle Mark in the trees? I have just been watching 'Little Red Tractor' you're going to love watching that with me when you get back, I'll bring the books with me on the train so you can learn all the charaters names.
I fed a goat at the farm all by myself last week, i had to hold my hand really flat and it ate all the feed.
We went to see Helen and Keith at the weekend, Helen bought me a digger.
I have learnt to say "Tank U" now. Mummy wants to go shopping this afternoon but I say 'oh no'!!
See you soon,
Love

Hey Nic and Caroline,
Great blog entry, you've seen some amazing wildlife and scenery, it really is incredible. I'm feeling very envious sat behind my laptop in my office looking out onto an air conditioning unit!!!
Make sure you savour the last month which I'm sure will fly by - good for us in the UK but maybe not so much for you, although England (even Manchester) has been hot and sunny for the last 3 days - we're making the most of our summer (sat behind my laptop in my office overlooking.... sorry stuck record).
Take care Mx

hiya girls,
i love the latest entry. Gotta say the beach walk didnt look to have too much sand on it!!! And those bugs and the tarantula???. that would seriously upset me....
But the orangeutangs are beautiful. The big strong Alpha male looked a fabulous specimen. But with a name like Richie, what else can we expect....!!!
Very impressive pics once again. Hope you enjoy the remaining month.
I can't wait to see you again Caroline, 4 weeks 1 day....
