Arrived in chaing mai and already im liking its more relaxed pace when compared to the madness of bangkok. Hotel is nice and has a pool, we shall be here for 8 nights and have booked some hill trekking for three day in the mountains. Chaing mai is a really lovely city. It has the old town surrounded by a moat in which there are around 200 temples, and the new part which boasts lots of bars and night markets etc. First day in chaing mai woodsy and i did a little sightseeing and ended up having an hour long conversation with a budda monk outside a temple. Went exploring the night life in chaing mai at night and after the club found ourselves being taken around chaing mai at 4 am on the back of a bike of some thai girls we met (tina and em). Tommorow they will take us to visit a temple in the mountains.
