We left Kaikoura early this morning and headed for Hanmer Springs, stayed at another Top 10 resort. Spent a few hours relaxing and then took a 90 minute forest walk. Never saw a single person but saw a few sculptures in the forest which will see from the photographs. In the evening we walked into town which is basically one street, with a variety of restaurants and the usual Irish pub. Had a lovely meal and sauntered back home around 10 pm.
