July 28th (Tuesday) - Day 149 - Dunedin
Just other morning on the bus. Saw all the awesome scenery. We had a bit of a mad driver. He didn't let anyone wear head phones; instead everyone had to talk. Once we arrived we dumped our bags and headed over to the Cadbury's chocolate factory. A slight sense of "I've done this before" as we did it about a month ago in Aus. Nevertheless this is a new country so we had to try something different! They had a cool display of Crunchies almost like a gold mine. The wrappers on the pile still had the chocolate in it but I guess it would have been several years out of date. The tour itself was far better than the one in Aus. We were allowed round the factory and got to see a lot more of how it all works. I finally learnt how they make Easter eggs! They have already started making the 2010 batch! The guide made us have a chocnana (Chocolate banana bar they only have here) eating contest. 1 was enough for me. After the tour we had a good look around the town including at the impressive railway station.. We got an early night that night as the last few nights we had snorers in our room.
