Well I'll start with the good bits today! We left our hotel which is like Faulty Towers in search for some better food than breakfast offered! We went to a place recommended by the guidebook that served huuuge slices of pizza that were just over a euro each! So we had two! We sat there eating them and I was mesmorised by the guy making these 20 inch pizzas! He couldn't make them fast enough and was whipping them out like there was no tomorrow!
We then searched for the bus and headed for the Lambourghini museum! We went and found like a massive showroom full of vintage and one off cars! After getting numerous photos of each one we went outside to see this guy pull up in one of the new models, which sounded amazing! We were both in awe- like we should have been at the Cistine Chapel! I think Shaun's new lifetime ambition is to own a Lambourghini! We left the museum and got the bus back to Bologna, with Lambourghinis zipping past!
We went straight back to the hotel to escape the heat- apparently theres a bit of a heatwave here and even the locals are feeling a bit hot! I'm glad it's not just us!
When we started to feel hungry we left the hotel for some tea. We looked at the guidebook for recommendations since the pizza place it suggested was lush! I marked a place on the map where it recommended a good restaurant (so we weren't sure if we'd even find it!). We did find it, which was amazing, so we went inside. They didn't have a menu as such so the waitress told us what they had, which was a mistake. First of all she brought bread (which is common in Italian restaurants) then wine (which was warm) and antipasti. I ordered tortellini because its a speciality in Bologna, and when it came my immediate thought was "I'm glad that pizza place is on the way back to the hotel!" There were 4 bits of pasta on my plate! Needless to ssy, I was not impressed. The bill ended up coming to a larger amount than expected due to getting all the crap that we hadn't asked for! I only ended up having a glass of water, a sip of warm wine, a slice of ham and four bits of pasta! Shaun seemed to enjoy it but I had to stop on the way back for a pizza slice because I was still starving!
So after a sparse but expensive meal, a slice of pizza and an ice cream my purse is a lot lighter and I'm ready for bed!
Tomorrow we're off to Milan but we might stop at Verona on the way, all I know about Verona is that Romeo and Juliet is set there!
So Ciao for now! xx

Mum That lambourghini looks fab, i don't think it has much room for shopping bags, or car seats either!
Tasha Definately no room for kids seats!! A little room for shopping but I don't think those are the types of things you worry about when you have a lambo!
