The next day was Saurday, we got up early to get the bus and ferry to BUENOS AIRES!! That nght wewent out for my birthay to a club called Pacha, all i neon fancy dress that the girlshad organised as a surprise for me. Loads of people from the hostel came too and it was BRILLIANT!! We didn´t leave till 7am, absolutely fantastic night out, everyone really enjoyed it. It was dance music which isn´t our usual thing but we had such a laugh it didn´t even matter!! ...

We left Florianopolis for Montevideo (with a quick stop at Porto Allegre, although I didn´t leave the bus station, ha ha!!) on the Thurday (my birthday). The girls all surprised me with 23 chocolate truffles, balloons and candles at the bus station, ha ha!! We rrived in Montevideo the next da adn went for a look around the town. The next day we left Rio (I actually nearly cried!! I LOVE RIO!!!) for Sau Paulo. We weren´t originally going to go there but our Brazillian friends told us The Hives were playing a gig there so we thought "why not". I´m so glad we did cos it was a brilliant gig!! The crowd was awesome and their guitarist is mental!! ha ha!! The ext day we had a little look around the Japanese quarter in sau Paulo and then got a night bus to Florianopolis. We arrived...

Ola!!! Following Paraty we headed for RIO!!!! The best place in the world, EVER!!! The first thing we did when we got there was a favella tour. That was really eye opening, it´s like another world. You walk around and one minute your chatting to some kids who live there or something and the next you turn a corner and there´s guys with machine guns!! In Paraty now after 24 hours travelling!! the girls and I just went for food, and we stumbled across a cake stall and got the fittest chocolate cake thing ever!! Barn and I were in heaven!! Got a free day tomorrow so probably gonna go to the beach after making a few phone calls!! Then in the evening we´ll all be heading out for Carilijn´s birthday, can´t wait!!
