In Paraty now after 24 hours travelling!! the girls and I just went for food, and we stumbled across a cake stall and got the fittest chocolate cake thing ever!! Barn and I were in heaven!! Got a free day tomorrow so probably gonna go to the beach after making a few phone calls!! Then in the evening we´ll all be heading out for Carilijn´s birthday, can´t wait!! I´ll keep you posted!!

Ola!!! (Writing from Rio, Sept)

Think I was in Paraty last time I wrote on here!! After Paraty we went to Ilha Grande. We got a private boat which was amazing!! We got to stop to jump in the sea whenever we got too hot from all the sunbathing on the roof deck!! Also, we got to see Dolphins so close up!! They came right up next to our boat it was fantastic!! Ilha Grande itself is gorgeous!! The first night we got there we had the most random night!! We ended up absolutely hammered, even though we only went to one bar....wwe did our usual trick of sneaking vodka out in a water bottle, ha ha!! (save the pennies and all that!!) It was so funny, somehow that night Barney and I ate 5 cakes each and befrened the cake man (we have little recognition of this but we saw the photo´s on Barns camera the next day, ha ha!!)!! Then we got lost on our way back to the hotel, so we got the key out to see what the name of it was, it said ``Pousada`` so we went around looking for it and asking people ``Donde la Posada??!!!`` (ha ha, thats not even correct in Spánish, let alone Portuguese, but we like it, ha ha) and we found a few and even walked right in one but it wasn´t ours, ha ha!! The next day we found out Pousada wasn´t the name of our hotel, but its Portuguese for ´small hotel´, ha ha!! No wonder there were so many!! Still don´t know what the actual name of our hotel was called!!

The next day we went to Lopez beach, its considered by many to be one of the best beaches in the world and I can see why, absolutely gorgeous!!
