Queenstown is definately a place to visit. The main attractions are the many adventure activities you can do here, but to be honest, most of the you can do in other places in NZ where it is also cheaper. There are a lot of people there, and it is a good place for night life. We met a lot of people there and had a few good nights out. Of course what you can't overlook is that it also has a beautiful lake and stunning mountains surrounding it. We were here for a few days and it was lots of fun, and the one activity we did was to go skiing. We went up Cardrona mountain and spent the day learning to ski which was lots of fun, but I dont think i will make it to proffessional level any time soon! Its worth a visit, but I would spend most of your time elsewhere where it is cheaper! xxxxxxx
