hello, sorry its been a while since my last installment of the hilarious life of me! and due to a high level of demand....i am going to write another blog just for you.

so i am in melbourne now...i have been here since tuesday 26th november. the journey was actually quite uneventful except for a 2hour delay after i had already been at the airport for 6hours....not much..i can tell you. it was noce to have a smooth journey after all the past ones!

melbourne is a fantsict city...i would recommned it to anyone. its clean. busy but not too busy, lots of shops, ,lots of sights, lots of bars and all round its just great. its quite a new city...it was founded in 1835 by the english (of course) and it just looks like an old english town....with old architecture etc. i really like it here and there is beautiful beach only 20mins away on the tram (this is where i forgot to put suncream on my bum...its was a little red to say the least!). it has been really hot so far but todat has been the hottest by far....about 30deg (sorry for those who have the central heating on full!)

the hostel is great. its big, with lots of clean communal areas with a massive kitchen (yes i have been using this) and a massive rooftop which looks over the city. the view is amazing...i am sharing my room with 7 other girls which i dont mind really but i ma lookinf forwrad to getting a flat in sydney or somewhere else where i can have a proper bed and hang my clothes up...i am a bit aick of living out of my bag now.

so far i seen the treasury museum, national gallery of victoia, i have been on a river cruise, been to a cricket match at the famous mcg, drank beer (any of my drinming friends will know that this is a first for me!). i have been to the local night market...which was amazing. i have been up the tallest building for 360deg views....there is so much to do and see.

on tuesday i am heading west for afew days along the great ocean road...to apollo bay and lorne then herading back to melbourne to then head up to sydney to meet the girls again.. i have missed them so much...hopefully maybe able to get bookedin on bondi beach for afew days. the plan then is to get a job and look for a more permanent place to stay for a few months to save up some money. i may even head back this way as its just such a great place.

i havent been alone at ll this time. i met a guy at the baggage collection and we have been touring round the city together. it has been great to have somebody else to go round with. he is staying in melbourne to get a job and stay here for a year.

ooohhh...before i forget...its so weired listening to christmas carol and seeing all the decorations while i am waling round in my shorts and tshirt...!!
